I made this page back in early December 07 because of a random urge to vent my frustration at the sudden disappearance of GaiaGuys.net. I had been interested in the site for a few years, and was aware of the legal battle they were having with the Ordo Templi Orientis. At the time, the last thing I had read on the site was about their extradition to face charges of contempt of court. When all I visited I only got "No website is configured at this address". After I couldn't find any sign of them anywhere, and emails weren't answered, I started to worry for the wellbeing of the sites owners. So I wrote a late-night, depressed post in the hopes of finding someone that knew what happened, and went to bed..

Google loves me. Seriously. Overnight I somehow became the #1 result for searches for "gaiaguys", and I was overwhelmed with the amount of people looking for the same answers.. Heres the short version of what happened:

What happened to Gaiaguys.net ?

• The websites owners removed the site themselves under advice from friends.
• The Ordo Templi Orientis Australia website posted a new press release, heralding a 9 month prison sentance for the owners.
• They were arrested, imprisoned, and served 2 months of the 9 month sentance
• They were released from prison on the 29th of February after apologizing for defying the court, and promising not to publish the vilifying material again.

A lot more happened along the way, and I made some assumptions that I shouldn't have publicly posted. Now that Dyson & Vivienne are out of prison, I just want to back away, and put this out of my mind for a while..

What was Gaiaguys.net about?
This site covered a lot more than just the "Religious Vilification" that got them imprisoned, like:

• Corruption within the Australian government and police forces
• Research into the various cults & secretive groups in Australia
• Records of years of correspondence with powerful figures within our govt and media
• Environmental issues, protesting development & logging of our forests
• They were the (only?) Australian representatives for the Disclosure Project
• Translations of the contact logs between UFO Contactee Billy Meier and P'Taah
• A massive collection of Crop Circle photos and articles
• Research into the growing numbers of Chemtrails over Australia
• Studies of ancient/occult symbology and its appearances in modern society
• Alternative clean energy sources
